These cookies are great for making your own snack. The small ingredients list is always a bonus, and the cookies can last for up to 3 days, so making a large batch can cover you and your flatmates for a whole weekend. Definitely give these a try if you’re looking to personalise a treat for yourself!

Ingredients:
200g peanut butter
175g golden caster sugar
¼ teaspoon table salt
1 egg
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180c and place a sheet of tin foil over 2 baking trays.
Add the peanut butter and sugar to a large bowl. Add the salt, and mix well with a wooden spoon. Crack the egg and add to the mixture, until it forms a soft dough.
Break off chunks of the dough, and spread across the two baking trays, leaving lots of room between each. Flatten each piece of dough with the back of a fork.
Bake for 12 minutes, at which point the sides will be browning, with a lighter centre. Cool on the trays for a further 10 minutes, before transferring to the wire rack for a final 5 minutes. The cookies are now ready, and can be stored for up to 3 days.
